One would think that Canon would be encountering rough sailing in the economy these days but apparently they are not. In fact, Canon is enjoying a very profitable season right now, hitting a record sales despite the recession.

DigiDirect Australia’s third quarter result is especially strong, considering it is on the back of a record second quarter after solid festive season purchasing.

“People are buying online more than ever,” said DigiDirect Managing Director Shant Kradjian, who also has live retail business interests. “Consumers are realising that the internet is a global marketplace, thus online businesses have global competitors, forcing us to sell at lowest possible prices.”

Despite selling at low prices, Kradjian and his DigiDirect digital camera sales team, which operates very professionally out of offices in Bondi Junction, say they could not be happier with the results.
