If you own a PowerShot SX1 IS camera then you should absolutely get a new firmware update which will let you shoot images in high-detail, unprocessed RAW format. A new high-speed RAW editor is also available for download. Get a copy of Canon’s Digital Photo Professional Software for fast post-production editing. You will be adjusting key settings like white balance, exposure compensation and sharpness before converting to JPEG. The firmware will be available for download from mid-March so keep an eye on Canon’s site for it.
