Canon Teases In-Camera HDR Patent

Canon may yet offer another marquee feature for its line of cameras if this filed patent, the in-camera HDR, gets approval. The patent seems to show how one can do image altering at pixel levels and stands to be a new cool feature for their next line of cameras soon.

Image quality will no longer rely heavily on the number of megapixels used in snapping those shots and stands to avoid making them look negatively surrealistic. Now all we have to do is wait when Canon would officially come out with this new technology which certainly seems like a new angle for happy snappers taking pride in the cameras and the features they carry.
