Canon Updates EOS XTi/400D Firmware
Canon has very recently introduced Version 1.1.0 of “EOS Digital Rebel XTi/EOS 400D firmware”, which would mainly add support for the innovative Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) USB protocol and has got superior flexibility than the Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) used for communication linking the camera and the computer up to now and also this would help in error correction in the easy Chinese menu screens. Canon’s this Version of 1.1.0 firmware is being launched for the cameras which employs firmware up to Version 1.0.5. If some camera’s firmware is already Version 1.1.0, then the user need not update the firmware in such a case. There is no clue about the pricing and updation facilities of this firmware as canon has not revealed any information about it. So, stay tuned till our next updation.
