CANON U.S.A. INTRODUCES THE imagePRESS C1+ FEATURING CLEAR TONER

Canon U.S.A., Inc., a world-renowned digital document imaging and office solution provider, recently launched its new imagePRESS C1+. Featuring clear toner, this newly launched printing device first product of its kind. A step further than the highly acclaimed imagePRESS C1, the new imagePRESS C1+ produces highest quality color proofs in seconds.

“The use of a clear toner in the imagePRESS C1+ expands what we are able to offer customers in the printing market,” said Tod Pike, senior vice president, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. “The ability to produce consistent color reduces the need for multiple prints, bringing down overall printing costs. In addition, the clear toner enables designers and graphic arts professionals to expand their capabilities and offer a wider array of innovative printing solutions. This new model will further establish the Canon imagePRESS line as an industry leader.”

The new Canon imagePRESS C1+ produces prints at a high resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. It lets you enjoy a printing speed of 14 ppm in color and 60 ppm in black and white. Using the V-Toner it allows you to have a richer color reproduction. Moreover, it also incorporates a clear toner feature for a greater visual texture treatment.

Priced at $ 31,500, Canon imagePRESS C1+ will be ready for shipment by mid-November 2008.
