Canon is all set to launch two new enhanced wireless file transmitters, the WFT-E2 II and WFT-E4 II to the EOS-1 Series and EOS 5D Mark II. The transmitters will allow photographers to connect to WiFi devices, transfer images to a computer or server and control the camera remotely.

The WFT-E2 II has been designed for the recently launched EOS 1D MARK IV, while the WFT-E4 II has been designed for the award-winning EOS 5D Mark II. Aimed to improve workflow efficiency of professional photographers, both the WFT-E2 II as well as WFT-E4 II supports AES encryption over wireless networks and high security WPA2-PSK authentication.

Both the WFT-E2 II and WFT-E4 II wireless file transmitters will be available by late December 2009 and will be priced at £699.00 & £649.00, respectively.
