Canon XF305 and XF300 Pro Spec Camcorders



Canon unveils a couple of new camcorders with the XF305 and XF400. Both are capable of recording 1920×1080 full HD video in MPEG-2 4:2:2 50Mbps Canon XF codec and have hot-swappable dual UDMA CD card slots.

These camcorders also come with 18X HD L-Series lenses and Canon’s latest DIGIC DV III Image Processor. The Canon XF305 will retail for $7,999 while the Canon XF300 will cost you $6,799. They are scheduled to arrive in late June.
