Canon CR-1 Non-Mydriatic Digital Retinal Camera
Canon USA exhibited its latest digital imaging solution for eyecare professionals at Vision Expo East. The Canon CR-1 Non-Mydriatic Digital Retinal Camera offers detailed high-resolution images perfect for diagnosis or analysis. Through the 45-degree view angle, the specialists can easily detect and monitor ocular conditions. The camera produces up to 10.1 Mega-Pixel pictures when connected to the Canon EOS 40D Digital SLR Camera (sold separately).

CR-1’s one-hand joystick operation with an illuminated panel allows smoother, hassle-free functioning. Professionals have an option to combine Canon’s imageSPECTRUM Version 3.0 software with the CR-1 system, for comprehensive study and analysis. The package offers easy input and access to information, Multi-image Compare to compare up to eight images simultaneously. The system also features DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) Standard-compliant interface to connect selected DICOM modalities.
