Canon launched its new ultra wide lens, Canon EF14mm f/2.8L II USM. Its newly designed optics including 2 high-precision Aspherical elements and two totally new UD-glass elements offer extra-ordinary image qualitywith better contrasts and sharpness at the edges. The lens is constructed with 14 elements in 11 groups and has a diagonal angle view of 114° (on full-frame cameras). The lens weighs22.8 oz./645g and measures 3.2 in. x 3.7 in. / 80mm x 94mm, has the closest focusing distance of7.9 in. / 0.2m. The built-in lens hood protects it from dust- and moisture. Due to high-speed CPU, powerful ring-type USM with revised electronic AF has became faster and consumes less time.
