The Canon iVIS HR10 is the latest addition to the iVIS line of DVD camcorders from Canon. The New HR10 makes use of a 8cm DVD media and sports a CMOS sensor, Digic DVII processor, optical image stabilization and also features a 1,440×1,080 (1080i) resolution. Measuring 65×133×93mm the HR10 weighs around 530g.

The iVIS HR10 features 2.7-inch LCD monitor, HDMI / component outputs, USB 2.0, and a miniSD slot for saving 3.1-megapixel stills. With Full HD capability and a 10x optical zoom lens, users can directly record high quality images into the 8cm DVD-R / DVD-RW discs. The battery backup is also pretty neat as it can deliver approximately 95 minutes of video recording with highest quality. It is all set to hit the store shelves by late August at 14,700 Yen
