Canon Japan will announce the launch of its new LBP5050 color laser printer. The printer is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Server 2003, and the Mac OS X 10.3.9. Through canon's reliable 4-color toner, it generates 9,600 dpi resolution documents with the same consistency on every print. The LBP5050 prints superior color A4 size documents at 12 pages per minute, while monochrome sheets are printed at 8 pages per minute.

The compact printer with a High speed USB 2.0 port will be available for sale from May 22nd for a price of 68,040 Yen. Its special Ethernet model will also be available for the price of 83,790 Yen.
