Canon Power Shot G7
Canon has recently launched the long-awaited Power Shot G7 digital camera. Featuring 10.0 mega pixels and a new Digic III processor the G7 is all set to rock the market in the month of October. The Power shot G7 sports a hot shoe, face detection software and ISO settings up to 1600. The camera features a high-resolution 2.5” LCD screen and has a wide viewing angle and anti-glare coating for better image framing and playback. Furthermore the Power Shot G7 is equipped with hot shoe support for Canon Speedlite flash units and is well-matched with a series of optional converter lenses.
The digital camera is outfitted with a new Safety Zoom feature which allows users to extend the camera's zoom range with no interpolation disturbing image quality. Power Shot G7 gives a variety of 25 shooting modes and also includes full Manual and two custom settings, enabling users to tailor the camera to their specific preferences. For portrait and group shots, the Power Shot G7 is backed with Face Detection AF/AE, a new technology that automatically detects up to nine faces within a frame and sets the optimum focus and exposure consequently. The powerful yet compact digital camera will be available to the users at a pricing of $550 from October.
