Once again Canon brings its new high end digital imaging solutions for networks, Canon ScanFront 220 and ScanFront 220P. Both models were previewed in April during the AIIM On Demand Conference and Expo. With their simple and sleek design the scanners provide variety of functions in a compact package. A large 8.5” touch screen panel enables previewing of documents before sending to ensure accuracy. Additional options include Scan-to -email, -folder, -FTP and -USB memory for convenience. Using Canon’s innovative technology it scans up to 26 pages-per-minute (ppm) or 35 images-per-minute (ipm) letter-sized documents. These models can be easily administered from a remote location over the network, they include enhanced network security through NTLM V2 protocol and Kerberos network protocols which are used to identify and authenticate users connecting to the servers.
