Canon’s three new camcorders: The HFR11, HFR10, and HFR100

I’m reporting live from Vegas for CES 2010, but it still hasn’t started yet. A great number of products have somehow already leaked to the media, and these three new, entry-level, camcorders from Canon are one of them.

All of them have these prized features that include 20X optical zoom, easy-to-use HD to SD conversion, as well as ports for mics and headphones. There is even a setting that allows for taking short clips (2, 4, or 8 seconds long). I’m not certain when I would be using that one.

The HFR11 has 32GB worth of built-in flash memory and will sell for about $699. The HFR10 has 8GB of flash memory and sells for about $549. As for the HFR100 has no flash, but an SD/SDHC slot and retails for $499.
