All of you who were using the Cumulus 7.5 update schedule can now update the Cumulus 7.5.4 immediately because Canto has recently announced its new set of Cumulus 7.5.4 that comes with a few minor updates. This will shortly be followed by the Cumulus 7.6 too. You can update the Cumulus 7.5.4 for free as it is available for all customers who are using the Cumulus 7.5 now.

With the Cumulus 7.5.4 you will get increased performance of Cumulus Servers running in 64-bit Linux environments. It offers reliability enhancements for customers using central asset locations.

Cumulus 7.6, an update will be available only to customers on active service contacts and will include all enhancements available in Cumulus 7.5.4, along with a few new features and benefits. Certain features like such are the ability to embed watermarks into images and generate PDF previews and thumbnails without Adobe Acrobat installed.

So, if you have not yet used the Cumulus Backup Manager can wait for the Cumulus 7.6, if you want. However, those whose services are going to be expired can opt for the Cumulus 7.5.4b and then wait for the 7.6 to enjoy the new benefits.
