Casio Exilim EX-S12

The Casio Exilim EX-S12 is one of four new Exilim cameras that Casio is releasing for spring sale. Only 3.7” wide x 2.1” high x .6” thin, the EX-S12 camera features a 3X optical zoom and a crystal clear 2.7-inch LCD monitor. The 12.1-megapixel resolution creates crisp, precise digital photos.  The Casio EX-S12 records HD movies at a size of 1280×720 pixels with the simple press of a button.

The new engine also features an image analysis technology that has the ability to automatically follow a moving subject so that when the subject leaves the frame the camera makes a record of it, the camera will also recognize that subject when the subject reenters the frame. The camera recognizes and remembers the subject, and auto focus is resumed automatically. The EX-S12 has a brushed aluminum exterior that is stylish, sleek, and fun, and comes in a choice of soft, contemporary colors. The MSRP on Casio Exilim EX-S12 is expected to be right around $250.
