Casio EX-F1 Digital Camera
Casio extends its line of Exilim digital cameras with the introduction of its new EX-F1. The EX-F1 was rated as one of the Top 20 Products to be shown at the CES 2008 by Popular Mechanics, which was very well deserved considering its unbelievable features. Along with the effective 6-megapixel lens and 12x digital zoom, the EX-F1 features a high-speed CMOS sensor and a high-speed LSI processor chip, that can capture still images at a burst speed of an impressive 60 frames per second and video at a superfast 1200 frames per second. At this rate, the EX-F1 can capture movement faster than the eye and produce ultra-slow motion replay. The EX-F1 can pre-record 60 frames per second even before the shutter button is depressed and stores up to 60 images in its buffer, ensuring that the crucial moment is not missed even by less than a second. The shooter can then leisurely watch a slow motion replay to select that perfect moment to preserve. The camera also features full high-definition video recording at 1920x1080 pixels with a frame rate of 60 per minute. It is HDMI compatible and movies can be viewed immediately on any HDMI-compatible television. No more missed shots even in low light, courtesy of Rapid Flash that allows to take up to 20 continuous shots at a speed of 7 fps and the internal LED light allowing for high-speed burst shooting between 10 and 60 fps.
The EX-F1 has an estimated price tag of $999.00 and is available in stores nationwide.
