Pentax 645D coming to US late 2010

Pentax has updated their medium format 645D over the years, and the newest edition is set to be released in the US later this year, Pentax confirmed. It will sport a medium format 40 megapixel sensor and will retail for $10,000, which is not bad, considering the size of the sensor and megapixel count.

Pentax K-5 announced

Photokina is underway in Germany and Pentax hasn't wasted any time announcing the K-3 successor, called the K-5. It sports a 16.2 megapixel sensor, improved 11-point autofocus and 100 to 12800 ISO range, coupled with 7fps burst mode. It also shoots 1080/25p video. It'll be available later this year.
