Oh wow…this is actually just sad.

Maybe you’ve heard by now about the allegations that a Christian book store clerk (the book store was Christian, anyway, I’m not so sure about the clerk) was spying on female patrons using the restroom via a hidden camera.  But what you’re likely not aware of is the newest twist in the story–he was actually caught on his own camera footage!

The camera he set up was hidden among some boxes, and as it turns out, there was actually footage ON THE CAMERA of himself, hiding the camera.  It’s pretty much open and shut at this point that he definitely put that camera there, so I can’t imagine what kind of defense his lawyer could possibly trot out.

He’s been charged with peeping with a recording device, and he was issued a citation and released, not exactly the strongest penalty on the books but it probably beats throwing one more guy in an already overcrowded and bankrupt California penal system.
