Cobra Electronics unveils a great camera in the Cobra SL3 GPS Safety Camera Locator with AURA Camera which aims to help improve safety on the road for drivers who find themselves in unfamiliar places. New drivers today are not totally educated on the possible hazards that they can run into. This includes traffic violations, dangerous intersections and other threats that one could think of encountering on the road.

The AURA database stores GPS coordinates of speed and red light cameras and driving hazards. Users can access this database online and download daily updates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The SL3 Safety Locator connects via USB, synchronizing the coordinates for the most current and accurate camera and dangerous intersection alerts. Drivers can also add up to 1,000 location-based alerts to ensure that they are alerted to temporary or moveable driving threats.

The SL3 will be on display in the Cobra Booth #C-9 at the CEA Line Show, June 10-11, 2009 in New York, NY. The SL3 is legal in all states and providences in Canada and has an introductory price of $99.95 that includes one-year of free updates to the AURA database.
