Connecticut Ghostbuster Arrested For Failing To Return His Busting Camera

We all know that thermal imaging cameras are the great way to catch ghosts, right?  Sure, most of us have seen Ghost Hunters, or any of the great videos I sometimes pick up for you guys to watch around here.  And catching a ghost can often be as simple as looking for a pocket of thermal variance.  The theory behind that, of course, is that “ghosts” require energy to manifest themselves in the physical world, and thus leech it from the ambient heat around them, causing a “cold pocket” to form wherever they are.  And there’s nothing better to spot that “cold pocket” than a thermal camera.

But for twenty seven year old Matthew Kondracki of Highland Park, that thermal camera became a court charge after he failed to return it to its owner.  He was charged with one count of third degree larceny, which is actually a felony.

Kondracki works as an investigator for the Enfield Paranormal Society, court documents say, and when he didn’t return the device to its owner, charges were filed.  Seems a little nuts to me, because if he just returns the camera there isn’t any problem any more.  So hopefully Kondracki will return the camera before he gets busted and winds up doing a jailhouse investigation full time, in residence.
