Cool Pictures: Google Earth Shows Us El Prado Masterpieces in 14 Gigapixels Photos

The technology can do wonders these days. Check out these cool pictures from Google Earth. These are photos from the El Prado in Madrid which holds inside some of the best paintings ever. And Google has decided to reveal them in an enormous 14-billion-pixel resolution. That’s right, these are 14 gigapixel photos which have 1,400 times the resolution of a 10 megapixel point-and-shoot camera. Would you like to own a 14 gigapixel camera? Is there one available already?

No special camera has been used! The video explains it better. A machine-controlled digital camera and algorithms which will compensate for deformation managed to pull these pictures off.
