Students who have the talent for producing short films get their chance to showcase their wares through the use of a Vado HD Pocket Cam thanks to this contest called the Creative Vado HD Pocket Cam Momentum Film Contest. All students have to do is take videos via a Vado HD and add some sounds as they wish. For students who don’t own one, they can borrow from film school camera departments of participating schools. In case their school is not listed, they can apply for a loaner unit here.

Finished films should be uploaded to YouTube and then submit them to Creative for approval. Entries will be accepted until December 10 up to 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. Voting ends on January 31, 2010 and winners will be announced on February 8, 2010. Prizes include, cash, Creative products and internship opportunities in Creative’s social marketing division and with a famous filmmaker, to be announced later.
