Crucial Fast SSDs Unveiled



The battle among memory and drives these days is pinned at the read speeds and of course the storage complement. Used for either pictures, videos or other forms of media files, you know for a fact that you will be asking for more space and of course, efficient access each time you need it.

Crucial unveils a new kind of SSD which are touted to replace the standard hard drives soon. With that idea looming over their shoulders, Crucial launches a new kind of SSD called the M225 series with speeds of up to 250MB/sec and write speeds of 200MB/sec. Inside the standard 2.5-inch drive housing Crucial uses MLC NAND flash.

The variant capacities of these drives will come as follows:

  • 64GB ($169.99)
  • 128GB ($329.99)
  • 256GB ($599.99)
