After we’ve seen Nikon’s Coolpix S1000pj, the first point-and-shoot camera that also works as a projector, we now have a camcorder that also happens to act as a pico-projector from time to time. The Digilife DDV-JF1 is a point-and-shoot pocket camcorder that can record 1,280 x 720 at 30fps video in H.264 format on up to 32GB SD cards. It can also record 848 x 480 at 60fps video and 320 x 240 at 30 fps video if HD is not your favorite flavor.

When you’re done recording you can use the pico-projector and show all of your friends the new videos. The projector offers only a 640 x 360 resolution and 8 lux of brightness.

We have no pricing details at this point and DigiLife hasn’t announced any arrival dates yet but we’ll keep you updated once we have more news about the DDV-JF1.
