Freescale Semiconductor and Sagem Communications has unveiled a new digital photo frame called the AgfaPhoto AF5080W. It runs on i.MX31 processor and features Linux multimedia applications. Its 8-in screen boasts 800x600 pixel resolution and you can upload pictures, videos and audio on the AgfaPhoto AF5080W using WiFi connection, USB or high-capacity SD cards of up to 16GB in size. It can read various types of files and can be programmed for image animation. The device is packed with various other multimedia functionalities such the ability to play audio via a set-top box.
