Eight-rotor UAV for more flying camera action
Some of you might remember when we covered the Flying Canon EOS 5D, and here is another flying contraption made for still and video cameras.
This UAV is from Draganflyer X8, and it has eight rotors to lift up a two pound load. It has a GPS system for tracking up to 16 satellites to pinpoint location, and includes many gyros, accelerometers, and magnetometers.
It doesn’t look like they will sell this to just anyone, as not everyone could pay the price. I don’t have the exact number, and the X6 costs $15,000. Who knows how much this one costs.
