Epson Presents Firmware Updates for P-Series Photoviewers



P-6000_216x144 For enhanced photography on the move, Epson recently announced the release of a free firmware update for its P-series Photoviewer range. The latest firmware offers immediate and direct access to high-quality previews of images and remote shooting and enables tethered shooting.

The Epson P-series Photoviewers are professional media management tools, designed to let photographers store and view high-quality images in detail when traveling. The new firmware supports tethered shooting with Nikon D90, D300, D700, D3, D3X and Canon 40D, 50D, 5D Mark II, 1D Mark III and 1Ds Mark III cameras.

The free firmware update is already available on Epson’s European website to all users of the P6000 and P7000 Photoviewers. Instructions regarding the installation and usage are available along with the firmware download that is obtainable from the Epson website.
