Epson previewed its new business model “PX-20000” Large format ink jet printer. The printer comes from the Epson’s MAXART series and integrates the newly developed MicroPiezoTF print head. The 64 inch printer uses its densification nozzle to print high quality images at high resolution of 360 dpi which is twice the former ratio. Furthermore it uses Vivid Megnata ink technology with PX-P/K3 ink expanding the color gamut through 8 color inks. It features unique dot coming out detection function, automatic head cleaning function and automatic nozzle check system. The printer will be available for sale in late October at an estimated price of 2,298,000 Yen.
