Filter Forge, Inc. announced the final release of the long-awaited Mac OS X version of Filter Forge which is an innovative high-end plugin for Adobe Photoshop that allows computer artists to build their own filters, seamless textures, visual effects, distortions, patterns, backgrounds, frames and more. The key features of Filter Forge include a visual filter editor and a free online library of about 6000 user-created filters.

Filter Forge comes in six differently priced editions aimed at entry-level, mainstream and professional graphic artists. It can be utilized as a stand-alone application or as a plugin under Adobe Photoshop CS2, CS3 and CS4.
