First Videos Recorded with a Canon EOS 7D Are Available Now
Canon 7D movie – Another night in Beijing from Dan Chung on Vimeo.
I am sure you checked the video above and whether you liked it or not you surely admired it. You must have admired it as it was recorded with Canon’s EOS 7D camera. Dan Chung is the artist behind the camera, the same guy that recorded one of the first videos with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Will you be able to record similar videos? Well sure you would but you’d definitely need some additional equipment. What you need is a few lenses like Canon 50mm f1.2L, 35mm f1.4L and the 70-200mm f4L IS, a Zacuto Z-finder attached to the camera, Genus DSLR bars supporting the wide angle mattebox to prevent camera flare, a Redrickmicro shoulder rig and the Miller DS-20 tripod. You’ll also need a Zoom H4n microphone for better sound and you’re good to go as long as you already have the Canon EOS 7D. Start recording your video and don’t forget to show us how it is.
