Fuji F31fd

The new Fuji FinePix F31fd is actually the first compact digital camera from Fujifilm with the Face Detection technology. While Fuji is no stranger to Face technology this is the first time that it has incorporated the technology in compact point and shoot.

The latest Fuji digicam has a 6 Megapixel resolution under its hood and includes the 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD. There is the now mandatory Video recorder and the F31fd shoot movies at VGA resolution at 30 frames per second. Lets talk about the Face Detection feature now. Via this feature the camera is able to identify up to 10 faces in a frame and then adjusts the focus accordingly.

The Fujifilm F31fd has a maximum ISO of which is practically unheard of in point and shoots! For superior image quality there is the Picture Stabilization and i-Flash system. The latter is able to take an impressive 580 shots per full battery charge. No Manual settings on this one and the camera will see a December release.
