FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. and Xerox Corporation have collaborated once again and this time are targeting professional and commercial photo labs. The two companies seek to bring a complete photo printing solution to take advantage of the growing market for specialty photo products.

The solution entails using the new Xerox’s DocuColor® 240 and 250 Digital Color Printers which can print photo books, photo calendars, greeting cards, as well as posters, trading cards, fun packs and a host of other specialty printed products.

The Xerox DocuColor 240/250 printer features include:

* Speeds up to 50 ppm color and 65 ppm monochrome
* Impressive image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi
* First copy in 4.3 seconds for monochrome and 7.8 seconds for color
* Capable of printing on a wide range of substrates, up to 110 lb cover/300 g/m
* Can handle jobs as small as postcards all the way up to 13 x 19
* Optional finisher that punches, folds, staples, and makes signature booklets
