The Fuji FinePix S5 Pro is the latest DSLR from Fuji and this one looks extremely promising. Looks like 8 AND 10 Megapixels are passé now and the S5 has a 12.24 Megapixels resolution. Fuji has incorporated the Super CCD SR double pixel technology - 6.17MP S-pixels and 6.17 MP R-pixels) which guarantees breath-taking results.

The Fuji FinePix S5 Pro is housed in a durable magnesium alloy body frame and is equipped with a 2.5 inch LCD. The DSLR also has the current favorite Face Detection technology which is able to detect faces in a crowd and then focuses accordingly for the best possible results. One thing I like about the DSLR is its compatibility with Nikon F-mount lenses.

Other features found on the DSLR include; a Dual-save mode lets you save images in both RAW and JPEG formats, CF Type I/II and Microdrive for storing images, ISO 3200, 3 levels of custom Function Locking with password protection, New Hyper Utility Software for precise editing control of images taken in CCD-RAW and i-TTL flash control. No word yet on the pricing and availability.
