With the introduction of the F100fd, Fujifilm has just added another feather to its already overburdened cap of acclamation. The company has announced the availability of this camera in Japan. Rightly quoted as the ‘ultimate F Series’, the F100fd has paved a new way in photographic technology with its high profile and extravagant features. The 12 mega pixel camera also sports other features such as 5x zoom lens, Portrait Enhancer and Dual Shot mode plus Face Detection Technology 3.0 etc.

A press release on F100fd says, “Following the long line of award-winning F-Series models, Fujifilm UK today announced the most accomplished model in the range yet, the FinePix F100fddigital camera…………………….. F100fd is one of the most sophisticated compact digital cameras Fujifilm has ever produced. It offers the most advanced technologies available…..” It also comments that now with F100fd “missing great shots is not an option.”

The F100fd has a wide range of specifications. Apart from the earlier mentioned ones, the F100fd comes with 12MPSuper CCD VIII and Real Photo Processor III which accounts for the ultra high resolution picture quality and a unique dynamic range. Moreover, it also has High Speed Playback feature which allows high speed images to load during play back and display images in high resolution at 10 frames/ second. The other quotable features include the Dual Image Stabilization, continuous shooting, special scene modes, Micro thumbnail, IrSimple and xD/SD/SD-HC compatible slots etc.
