Fujifilm is pleased to announce the launch of its new A-Series digital camera, the A170. It is an easy-to-use, high quality yet affordable compact device.

The A170 features a high resolution of 10.2 megapixels along with 3x optical zoom that will let you capture sharp and clear images with vivid colors and lets you enjoy a range of picture-taking options. The lens of the Fuji A170 has a maximum aperture that varies from F2.9 to F5.2 across the zoom range. Other outstanding features of the camera include Picture Stabilization, 2.7” LCD screen, maximum sensitivity up to ISO 1600, auto scene recognition, Face Detection technology and Picture Stabilization Mode.

The Fujifilm A170 will be available from August 2009. The price of the camera will be announced prior to its launch.
