Fujifilm Finepix Z70 Camera Review–Another Terrific Value From Fuji
We’ve got another great value from Fujifilm to review today, folks, so strap in because this one’s going to be something to see. Yesterday we hit up the Fujifilm Finepix XP10, and today we’re going to hit a camera we first talked about here in February, the Fujifilm Finepix Z70.
The Fujifilm Finepix Z70 is a twelve megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom and a 6.3x digital zoom for backup. It’s got a 2.7 inch LCD monitor, digital image stabilization, face detection, SR auto (which as we explained yesterday recognizes the six most commonly shot photos and optimizes the camera accordingly. It also offers a variety of shooting and flash modes, a tracking auto focus for moving subjects at long range, movie recording, thirteen megs of onboard memory, a YouTube / Facebook uploader for easy uploading to those two web services, a blog mode for adding special effects to photos before even offloading them, direct printing capability and the option to connect it to an HDTV to view pictures on the camera.
Perhaps, though, the best part of this camera is its incredible price–Best Buy is offering these for a hundred and twenty bucks each. And with that, as you can see from the spec list, you’re getting a camera with a LOT of capability. That zoom is spectacular for the compact digital camera range (I haven’t seen higher very often–it’s rare enough that you see this high), and even the controls weren’t too difficult to work with despite the camera’s smaller size.
So I’m really very happy with the Fujifilm Finepix Z70, a really nice camera being offered for a spectacular value. You too should be happy with the array of features it offers, and if you’re looking for a new camera, this is definitely one to have a better look at yourself.
