Fujifilm Z30 Camera Review–Strange Little Camera

Sometimes, when you do a whole lot of camera reviews, you come across something that just makes you blink and scrunch up your face in shock for a second.  It’s a real sort of “what the hell is this thing I’m looking at?” moment, and though I have more of those than you’d probably expect, today is another one in the chain for me.

Today, of course, I’m talking about the Fujifilm Z30, a small camera with a variety of color choices.  It’s also got a 3x optical zoom, fifty megs of onboard memory, a 2.7 inch LCD screen, face detection systems, red-eye removal capablity and the easy to use “blog mode”.

What’s really odd about this one is that all of its buttons, including the flash activator, are on the BACK of the camera rather than on the top.  It doesn’t really get in the way much, but it does go against a lot of commonly used designs so there’d be a learning curve on this one.  But still…for ninety five bucks, I think I can learn a few new tricks on the Fujifilm Z30, and I’ll bet you can too.
