The recently introduced fi-6800 Production Scanner by Fujitsu focuses more on efficiency, productivity and automation. This new generation compact and quite scanner comes equipped with an array of latest scanning features, making it ideal for front office environment.

The fi-6800 boasts smallest footprint and offers fast scanning speeds of 130 ppm / 260 ipm at 200 or 300 dpi. The Intelligent Multi-Feed Function of the scanner allows instant detection of a multi-feed or multilayer document. For continuous processing of documents, the scanner supports Automatic Image Quality Checker.

The fi-6800 is an easy to use scanner featuring automatic stacker and complete suite of software tools that include Kofax VRS 4.5 Professional, ScandAll PRO 1.8, Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard. Besides, the scanner also comes equipped with VRS hardware to provide excellent image processing performance and functionality.

Priced at $19,995, the scanner will be available in March through authorized resellers.
