Primera Technology, Inc., has announced that it has teamed up with Imagine Products, Inc. to offer fully-integrated support for Imagine’s award-winning ShotPut Pro software. Primera and Imagine recently brought out their combined solution at NAB 2009 in Las Vegas. Video pros can now streamline their workflow and automatically archive content onto write-once DVD and Blu-ray Disc media using Imagine’s software and a Primera Bravo-Series Disc Publisher. The whole process is automatic and hands-free.

“We were extremely pleased with the reaction at NAB. Professional videographers were thrilled to now have an affordable solution for archiving to optical disc from P2, AVCHD, SxS and RED ONE memory cards,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. The shipping version of ShotPut Pro can be installed on any Mac OS X, 10.4 or higher with a Windows XP/Vista version coming soon. ShotPut Pro with Primera Bravo support is available from Imagine at www.imagineproducts.com or from Primera at www.primerastore.com and retails for $89. Products are now shipping.
