GE A950PL Digital Camera Review–Great Price, Great Camera
Today we’re looking at something a little unusual, a camera that comes to us from the folks out at GE. It’s the GE A950PL that’s on our slate today, and it’s a huge bargain that offers plenty of great features.
The GE A950PL is a nine megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom and an unusual 5.7x digital zoom to back it up, a 2.5 inch LCD display, optical image stabilization, face and blink detection, onboard redeye removal tools, automatic scene detection to adjust settings to the best possible shot, a pan-capture panorama mode for stitching several shots together to make a panorama view, burst shooting mode, automatic flash, twenty four megs of onboard memory with support for Secure Digital cards, USB port and direct printing capability.
And the GE A950PL doesn’t sound half bad, right? Admittedly, it’s low resolution, but not too much lower than your ten megapixel models. The zoom is better than some I’ve seen, and there are plenty of tools. It’s not as high-tech as some, but it’s got most of what you’ll need.
Even better, it’ll bring you all this quality for seventy bucks out at Best Buy. It’s hard to ignore a package like this, especially at this low of a price. So if you’re looking for a new camera and budget is the first concern on your list, definitely consider having a look at the GE A950PL.
