General Imaging has started shipping the GE E1250TW, its most feature-rich touch-screen digital camera to date. This camera debuted on HSN on June 22 and will be available for purchase through Amazon.com and other retailers.

The most recent release in the 2009 lineup of GE-branded cameras, the E1250TW features next-generation touch-panel controls allowing for rotation, swiping, and zoom among other new touch-controlled functions. The E1250TW has a 3-inch LCD screen, 12.2 megapixels of resolution, and 5x optical zoom. The camera retails for around $199.
