GE E1235 12-megapixel camera Worldwide Launch

General Imaging announced the launch of 12-megapixel camera E1235 on March 14 with 3X Zoom and 2.7” LCD Screen. The best of camera in GE line of series, the E1235 displays picture at a very high resolution. The camera E12325 is the fourth in line after G1, E1040 and H855.

Join three pictures together with in-camera panorama stitching and enjoy the big pictures. The slim and sleek camera boast features like red-eye removal, face detection and image stabilization, which makes it versatile. While the blink detection feature makes sure that subject’s eye were not closed while clicking, the smile detection feature trips the shutter automatically when subject smiles. Now you can capture right picture at right spot.

Available in silver or deep red color options, the E1235 bears a price tag of $199.95 inclusive of ArcSoft software package and black camera case. GE Cameras To Be Distributed By D&H Distributing

"D&H has an established, loyal customer base of retailers and resellers in digital cameras, computer products and consumer electronics, so we know it will do a good job of driving products to market through this base," said Hiroshi "Hugh" Komiya, chairman and CEO of General Imaging.

GE Cameras Available On Home Shopping Network

The new digicam has some decent specs on it including an impressive 10 MP resolution, a 4X optical zoom and a 5.7X digital zoom, a 3-inch LCD screen, and an intuitive interface.

GE 1030 Digital Camera

The GE 1030 has been outfitted with a 2.7" LCD and a 3x Zoom lens which is equivalent to 28mm wide-angle lens. One also comes across features like; USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, 26MB of built-in memory plus an SD / MMC card slot, and power from two AA batteries.

The new digicam by GE boasts of a pretty sleek form factor and we especially dig the black and silver casing which add a touch of chicness to the camera. The E-Series compromises of the following models; General Electric E850, E1030, E1040 and E1240. All the four models are pretty much identical and lets just quickly run down the specs.

First in line is the General Electric E850 has an 8MP resolution in addition to a 3.0" LCD display and a 5x optical zoom lens. The camera promises an intuitive interface and versatile shooting via the 28mm equivalent wide-angle lens. The E850 also has the now popular Face Detection Technology which as you know by now picks out the face from a scene and automatically adjusts the focus and the exposure.

The General Electric E850 also has a Image Stabilization Mode which" automatically overcomes shaking or blurring caused by accidental hand movement, helping you take clearer, sharper pictures". Some other features include; Lithium Ion battery, USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, 26MB of built-in memory and SD / MMC card slots.

GE A830 Digital Camera

GE_A830_1_L.JPGThe high end model in the A Series by GE is the GE A830 which is almost identical to its younger brother A730. The new camera by GE promises a great feature set without burning a hole in one's pocket.

The GE A830 includes an impressive 8 megapixel resolution and is housed in a stylish black and silver housing. The digicam comes equipped with a 2.5" LCD display with 153,600 pixels and a versatile 3x optical zoom lens. Max ISO sensitivity is 3200 and expect the camera to sell around for 150 $.

Other features include; USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, 26MB of built-in memory plus an SD / MMC card slot, and power from two AA batteries.

GE A730 Digital Camera

GE_A730_1_L.JPGGeneral Imaging at the PMA unveiled there new GE -A Series of Cameras which promise to be the company's most affordable, entry-level digital cameras. The new models include the GE A730 and A830 and both are pretty identical to each other.

The GE A730 is the cheaper of the two and includes a seven megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5" LCD display with 153,600 pixels, and ISO sensitivity to a maximum of 3200.

Other features include; USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, 26MB of built-in memory plus an SD / MMC card slot, and power from two AA batteries.

General Electric X1 Digital Camera

GE_X1_1_L.JPGNot sure if you would ever buy a camera from General Imaging but the company released a whole bevy of cameras which were at display at the PMA. The GE Branded cameras do look promising though.

The most advance camera by GE is no doubt the General Electric X1Digital Camera which has an SLR like design and offers features like eight megapixel resolution, a 2.5" LCD display, and a 12x optical zoom lens and the all important optical image stabilization. The camera includes Scene Modes like Sport, Kids & Pets, Party/Indoor, Foliage, Snow, Beach, Fireworks, Aquarium, Portrait, and can also record movies with audio.

The General Electric X1Digital Camera uses four standard AA batteries and one also comes across USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, 26MB of built-in memory and an SD / MMC card slot. The camera is PictBridge compatible and has a max ISO of 3200. Pricing and availability have not been announced at this time.
