GigaPan recently introduced its much anticipated EPIC Pro, an innovative camera mount, designed for DSLRs and large lens. Based on technology employed by NASA’s Mars Rover, this latest version of the company’s motorized panorama tripod mount is capable of shooting vertical and 360° horizontal panoramic images like its predecessors.

For incredible outcome and precise performance, the head features advanced technology and excellent design. Designed with aluminum arm and magnesium chassis, the EPIC Pro weighs less than 8 lbs and is capable of supporting a combination of camera and lens up to 10 lbs. It supports multiple triggering option, 360 panoramic and -65/+90 tilt range of motion and various adjustable features that consist of time between exposures, aspect ratio, motor speed and picture overlap. The head comes complete with a rechargeable battery pack.

Capable of capturing multi-gigapixel panoramas, the powerful and easy-to-use EPIC Pro will be available in April for $895.
