GM to Add Augmented Reality to Vehicle Enhanced Vision System HUD

GM is on the verge of offering something new for future vehicle models. This has something to do with GM’s Enhanced Vision System HUD which is reportedly adding augmented reality into the fray. Safety in another level is being wooed and this includes enhancing night vision capabilities to better identify road obstacles and animals in the way.
These are made possible by a series of front-facing sensors and are combined with several in-car cameras. These are used to track the drivers head and eyes to properly place the augmented reality layer on the windshield.
