Okay, so we all pretty much know by now that there are few things in cameras that are quite so obsolete as a Bakelite Brownie camera from Kodak, right?  Well, here’s an awesome product that someone made out of these old fellas–camera ROBOTS.

No, seriously, camera ROBOTS.  Okay, granted, they don’t actually move and their feet are made of old dominoes and their heads are billiard balls, but they still look cool.  These come from craft site Etsy and designer Cat Bishop.

But here’s the part that’ll really get you–not only are these camera robots pretty sweet looking desk toppers or trophy pieces, but if you were to load compatible film in there, they would actually still work.  Word is the shutters and such on these old Kodak pieces actually still work, even after various puzzle pieces and such have been hot-glued to their superstructure.

It’s amazing what you can do, even with an obsolete camera, when you set your mind to it.
