Hitachi is all set to woo as once again with its new Wooo DZ-GX5300 DVD camcorder. While I can’t explain Hitachi’s penchant for strange names, I can explain you the camcorder’s features!

The Wooo DZ-GX5300 is equipped with a 3.3-megapixel 3CCD and records SD SD video onto 8-centimeter (single-layer only) DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD-R, and DVD+RW discs. The camcorder boasts of a pretty compact form factor and can also capture still images. The handycam has a 2.7-inch swing-out LCD and a nifty feature called capture function which can grab a portion of a clip and store it automatically without any post-processing, No word on pricing or availability.
