Hitachi has been bitten by the Hybrid Bug and after the DZ-HS500A Hybrid Camcorder, they have announced the DZ-HS301 and DZ-HS303. Both are pretty identical specs wise and one comes across 2.7-inch widescreen display, 8GB internal drive, DVD-RAM, DVD±RW, and DVD-R support. One also comes across a very nifty "One Touch Dubbing" system that makes the PC dyfunct and masters video DVDs. However the two differ also.

The DZ-HS303 features a 3.3 megapixel sensor with 10x optical and 500x digital zoom where as the DZ-HS301 includes ; a 1.3 megapixel sensor with 15x optical and 800x digital zoom. The DZ-HS301 retails for $1,150 bucks where as the DZ-HS303 for $1,300.
