Hovercam Scanners Set To Replace Flatbed Scanners



Pathway Innovations and Technologies unveil a USB-powered Hovercam Scanner which should take the place of the usual flatbed scanners we use to scan books and documents. With the Hovercam Scanner, snapshots of documents placed beneath the lens are taken in seconds.

The Hovercam Scanner takes up less space than traditional flatbed scanners. They come in two models: The Hovercam Scanner X300 ($139.99) (2MP, maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200, 150dpi equivalent) and the Hovercam Scanner X500 ($199.99) (5MP, maximum resolution of 2544 x 1936, 600dpi equivalent).
