Recently HP announced the 12 megapixel digital camera, the PW550. Integrated with 5X optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens, the camera will fit more scenery into one single shot. This makes the PW550 an ideal choice for capturing images that are wider and taller.

The 5X Optical Zoom will allow users to capture distant images in clear and crisp details. Smile Detection feature alerts when a subject is smiling, while blink detection alerts when a subject is blinking. The camera features over 25 scene modes, ensuring the best short in different situations. You can either chose the mode as per your requirement or let Intelligent scene mode detect and select the best mode for you.

The HP PW550 digital camera is expected to be available this spring for $149 in a choice of black or plum.
